Anonymous donor appears to have come up with a six-figure gift, to ease schools' money worries.
Parents at two schools on the south coast, who fought off the institutions’ proposed privatisation earlier this year, are celebrating again after an anonymous donor “amazingly” came forward to clear their debts.
In the latest extraordinary twist in the remarkable recent history of the Hove Learning Federation, in Brighton and Hove, the gift of what appears to be hundreds of thousands of pounds was made, against the backdrop of what had seemed a very challenging financial picture for the schools.
