Petition “standing with” staff at the Great Ormond Street Hospital school reaches 1,400 signatures.

Teachers at a school linked to one of the world’s most famous children’s hospitals are on strike again this week, with their industrial action poised to reach a 20th day.

The dispute at Great Ormond Street and UCLH Hospital School, which Education Uncovered reported on before Christmas, sadly seems not in sight of resolution, with a clear majority of all National Education Union members having voted last month for renewed action.

The NEU said it represents 25 teachers out of around 32 at the school, which is a foundation school and thus not an academy. Members took 14 days of strike action over the Autumn term.
