Very senior education executives at England’s second-largest academy chain on contracts not requiring routine work outside of term-time, it has been claimed.

Senior executives at England’s second-largest academy chain are receiving pay and pensions packages in the region of £300,000 a year while being required to do little work in the school holidays, Education Uncovered understands.

The Harris Federation is paying some of its leading school support directors salaries well in excess of that of the Prime Minister despite them being on contracts requiring that they work routinely only during term-time, this website has been told.

Education Uncovered has put questions on this to Harris, but has yet to receive a response.
