Not a single parent in evidence, anywhere in governance system of controversial traditionalist academy trust

The Mossbourne Federation has no parents recorded as serving either on its overarching trust board, or on the governing bodies of its schools.

 

One of England’s most high-profile, and recently controversial, academy chains appears not to have a single parent serving within its schools’ governance structures – even though this is laid down as required by government rules, and by its own constitution.

The Mossbourne Federation, which runs seven academies from its base in Hackney, East London, has no parents on either its overarching trust board or on any of those individual school governing bodies whose make-up is listed on the government’s official website, where disclosure is required.
